Select a histogram, then choose Histogram Settings from the Graph menu to display the Histogram Settings dialog.
Note: The Histogram Settings dialog is unavailable for histograms with categorical x axes.
Step 2
Under Data Range, do one of the following to specify the data range:
• Enter the minimum and maximum data values you want to plot.
• Turn on the Auto check boxes to let the application determine an appropriate range of data to plot. The application will plot as much data as possible.

Under Interval Range, do one of the following to specify the interval range:
• Enter minimum and maximum values in the range. The interval range must include all values in the specified data range.
• Turn on the Auto check boxes to let the application determine an appropriate interval range.

Under Set Intervals By, do one of the following to specify how you want to show intervals in the specified interval range:
• To show a specific number of intervals in the graph, choose Number from the pop-up menu, then enter the number of intervals in the space provided.
• To show intervals according to a width that is measured along an axis, choose Width from the pop-up menu, then enter a value for the interval width in the space provided.
• To allow the application to set a value automatically for the currently-selected method, turn on the Auto check box.

Click Show to preview the histogram with the selected options, then click OK.
